• Children need direct love, not indirect love
• Leaving church to work overtime so that parents can provide for children = indirect
• Children belong to God! Don’t raise your children up to send them to the devil and make them ‘worldly’.

• 6 commandments relate to people
• Why did Jesus tell him to sell his possessions?
o Because he trusted his possessions, earned by his sweat, blood and tears

o No generosity

o THE POOR
• Jealousy and thoughts of unfairness

• Matthew 20:20
o PEOPLE SERVING GOD
• The mother asked for her children to have positions in Heaven

o Matthew 20:26-28
• Matthew 20:8-9
o Jesus never spoke of himself highly

• How do we get healed?
o Lay down our lives
o Be willing to serve
o Be willing to forgive
o Be willing to put priorities on children instead of yourselves
o Understand that God is fair to everyone

• Ephesians 2:8-9
• Blessings are gifts of God.

• Ephesians 2:4-11
o Rich in mercy, not wealth

• Matthew 19:23-26
